Unter der Trägerschaft des VHS-Zweckverbandes Rhein-Sieg wurde 1989 das Weiterbildungskolleg Abendgymnasium Rhein-Sieg (AGRS) zur Abrundung des Schulprogramms gegründet. Das Abendgymnasium Rhein-Sieg (AGRS) ist eine Schule der zweiten Chance. Die Schule wird aufgelöst. Neuanmeldungen sind letztmalig bis Anfang August 2022 möglich, allerdings nur für diejenigen, die eine Fachhochschulreife besitzen. Alternativ können Sie am Weiterbildungskolleg Bonn und am Köln-Kolleg weitere Schulabschlüsse bis zum Abitur erwerben. Grundsätzlich können an Kollegs in Siegburg während des ganzen Tages Abiturkurse belegt werden, an Abendschulen eher abends, da sie für Berufstätige gedacht sind.
